
Tawang Package
Embraced by towering snow-capped mountains from all sides, Tawang is a hill station, situated at an elevation of around 3048 m above sea level, in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is bordered by Tibet, Bhutan and Sela Range in the north, south-west and east, respectively. The word Tawang is made up of two words - 'Ta' meaning horse and 'Wang' meaning chosen.

The town got its name from the Tawang Monastery, the site of which was chosen by the horse of Merag Lama Lodre Gyamtso- the monk who was searching for a place to establish a centre for meditation and spirituality. According to history, it was a part of Tibet and was inhabited by the Monpa tribe.
A town so scenic and peaceful, Tawang is a great place to take a break from the hectic city life. It is a region that strongly promotes Buddhism, which is reflected in its culture and traditions. Tourists visiting Tawang can get to know a great deal about the teachings and philosophies Buddhishm, a religion that stands for peace and spirituality.
The prime attractions of Tawang include Tawang Monastery, Urgyelling Monastery, Ani Gompa and Sangetsar Lake.

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation, and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,
- Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
- Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
- Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
- Cancellations will be accepted only by email.
Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
