Nestled in the midst of a botanical wonderland, a bamboo park with 27 species of Bamboo on the westward direction, a tree park of 270 of endangered species and more than 55,000 trees on the south and a rare medicinal plantation of more than 750 species of medicinal herbs and plants, including 60 of the 96 species identified in the Vedic texts on the easterly side and lush coconut and acacia plantations overlooking the Gurupura river on the north.
Located at an elevation the property offers spectacular vistas of the lush landscape and the gurupura river.
Vedamarogya
The Ayurveda Wellness Centre at Phalguni River Resort has been designed to provide a healing atmosphere and ethnic ambience, located beside the Pilikula Medicinal herbs garden in the midst of the Pilkula Garden for threatened plants.
The architecture has been done to recapture the traditional heritage houses and structures in an effort to provide the authentic ayurveda experience. Treatments have been selected keeping the travelers profile in mind.

Wake up to breathtaking views at our cottages
Our Cottages are elegantly designed to mimic the old mansions – Guthu Mane – Traditional Manor homes of the nobility of Dakshina Kannada, tastefully decorated and constructed using traditional materials. Use of clay roof tiles and tall wooden ceilings in the cottages truly give it the rustic local feeling. Witness as the veil of mist lifts, undulating hills obscured by silky white clouds come to the fore.
The cottages are a perfect blend of tradition with modern attachments.
Every cottage has a private balcony open to the sights, scents and sounds of the lush natural surroundings with magnificent views of the coconut plantations.

Medical Kit Required
Essential
- Dress for comfort. Do avoid bright colours and stick to muted shades of green, black, grey and brown. The more you meld with the background, the better.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes.
- Avoid smoking - anything can start a forest fire.
- You'll be spending a lot of time outdoors. Don't forget your hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, torch, etc.
- Avoid plastics. We're really trying to cut down on plastics.
- Don't put perfume while going to safari.

Refund
Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,
- Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
- Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
- Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
- Cancellations will be accepted only by email.
Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
