The largest Greek island by area is Crete, located at the southern edge of the Aegean Sea. The second largest island is Euboea, which is separated from the mainland by the 60m-wide Euripus Strait, and is administered as part of the Central Greece region. After the third and fourth largest Greek Islands, Lesbos and Rhodes, the rest of the islands are two-thirds of the area of Rhodes, or smaller.

Athens is the capital of Greece. It was also at the heart of Ancient Greece, a powerful civilization and empire. The city is still dominated by 5th-century BC landmarks, including the Acropolis, a hilltop citadel topped with ancient buildings like the colonnaded Parthenon temple.

Mykonos is an island in the Cyclades group in the Aegean Sea. It's popularly known for its summer party atmosphere.

Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, forever shaping its rugged landscape.

Day 1: ATHENS - THE CRADLE OF CIVILIZATION WITH A NIGHT WALKING TOUR

Arriving in the mythical city of Athens, a person from our English speaking team will be waiting for you to assist you, inform you about all the details of your trip and offer a brief presentation of the city and the daily program. At the same time our representative will reply to any questions and dispel any doubts you might have.

The transfer to your hotel will be conducted by one of our private vehicles. Upon your arrival, your assistant will help you with the check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy Athens at your own pace.

In the evening you will join our walking-tour, where you will have the chance to explore the most charming areas of Athens, such as Anafiotika, Tiseo, Monastiraki, and Plaka and in this way see Athens from a different perspective.
Day 2: ATHENS SIGHTSEEING WITH ACROPOLIS, TEMPLE OF ZEUS & TRILOGY

After your breakfast and at the appointed time, we will commence the panoramic tour of the Athenian Neoclassical Center: the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the University, the Library, and National Academy, the Ilion Palace, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Gate, the Panathenaic Stadium, and many other monuments and sites of great interest. You will learn all there is to know about their history and background from the licensed English-speaking Tour Guide accompanying you on this tour.

After the panoramic tour, we will visit the "sacred rock", the spectacular, unique and magnificent Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. The entrance fee to both sites is included. At the end of the visit, you can either choose to return to your hotel or go off to start your own adventure through the charming and picturesque streets of Plaka.
Day 3: SAILING THE AEGEAN LIKE ODYSSEUS - FROM PIRAEUS TO SYROS

After a tasty breakfast and at the appointed time, one of our vehicles will be waiting for you along with your assistant to transfer you to the port of Piraeus, where you will embark on your cruise ship. Our journey starts at 4:00 p.m. towards the island of Syros. This is the ideal time to enjoy a beautiful sunset on deck, marvel at the deep blue of the Aegean or join one of the activities and services offered on board. In our cruise Greca Travel includes full board and a package of limited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Now we can really concentrate on having a great time!

Our arrival at the port of the capital of the Cyclades will be at 8:00 p.m. Here, we will be swept away by the night scene unraveling before us and have the chance to enjoy a traditional Rebetiko Feast by tasting the local delicacies. In medieval times, Syros, like most of the Cycladic islands, was occupied by the Venetians who converted a large part of the population to the Catholic religion. Up to the present time, the catholic population of this island still represents a large proportion of the country’s residents, who are mainly Greek Orthodox.

Our cruise departs for Santorini at 03:00 am the next day.
Day 4: FROM SYROS TO SANTORINI - FREE DAY

At around 10:00 a.m. we will arrive at the wonderful island of Santorini, considered by many the lost continent of Atlantis. Our approach to the island is a fascinating experience and a wonderful opportunity to capture with your camera the beauty of Fira, the island’s capital with its white houses overhanging the cliffside across the volcano.

We will have a free day to immerse ourselves in the magical atmosphere of the island! We can visit the caldera and the two small islands of Nea and Palea Kameni with their hot springs of green and yellow waters or simply venture out on land and explore the winding narrow streets, savor the local wine and taste the excellent local cuisine.

Santorini represents a perfect combination of archeological sites, black sand beaches, an active volcano, and magnificent sunsets; all of these form a part of its romantic and picturesque landscape. Whenever someone thinks of the Greek islands, Santorini is bound to come right on top!

At around 20:00 hrs. we sail off to continue with our journey.
Day 5: FROM SANTORINI TO RHODES - FREE DAY

After peaceful night sailing, we will wake up on the famous island of Rhodes, where the seventh wonder of the ancient world was: the Colossus of Rhodes.

From 08:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. approximately we will have all day available to discover the medieval city of Rhodes (declared World Heritage by UNESCO). In our stay in Rhodes, we cannot miss the Acropolis of Lindos, founded by the Dorians led by King Tlepólemo of Rhodes in the 10th century BC.

Moreover, we will see the oldest settlement on the island on Filérimos Hill with the old monastery and its extraordinary view of the place. In Rhodes, we can enjoy the natural beauty of the largest island of the Dodecanese.
Day 6: CESME AND MYKONOS, ADVENTURES IN THE AEGEAN

We will wake up in Cesme, a Turkish city that stands out for its unique buildings and beaches of great beauty. After a generous breakfast, we will have free time to explore historical monuments such as a 14th-century fortress, the 16th-century Caravazar and the Agios Haralambos church, which is the current headquarters of the Emir Caka art gallery.

If you wish you can join a panoramic tour of Izmir or an excursion to the ancient Ephesus. In the surroundings, we cannot miss the Acropolis of Ildiri that dazzles visitors from the top of the 88-meter-high hill.

At approximately 14:00 hrs we will continue our adventure through the Aegean towards Mykonos Island, where we will arrive at 20:00 hrs to enjoy the night panorama offered by the island.

Mykonos is the meeting point of the international jet-set for its wonderful beaches, exclusive shops, and unbeatable nightlife. Its historic center draws the traveler’s attention for its whitewashed houses and its narrow and labyrinthine streets that invite us to discover every little nook and cranny.
Day 7: FROM MYKONOS TO ATHENS, THE RETURN

At 02:00 hrs we will set sail to our return to Athens and to the port of Piraeus.

We will sail in a peaceful way enjoying the comfort and services that the cruise offers us.

Once we arrive at the port of Piraeus at 09:00 hrs and after our breakfast we will be ready for disembarkation.

After these few days with us, we hope to see you again on another wonderful journey that will afford you yet more unforgettable moments etched forever in your memory.

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,

Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
Cancellations will be accepted only by email.

Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
