The valley which is known as ‘the valley of flowers of North East India’ is one of the best-kept secrets among Indian hikers. It is rare to find a valley with so much greenery and the strangest part is it’s not grass but short bamboos of a different variety which hardly grows more than 4 feet. Walking through the valley seems like a walk in the heaven. The valley is situated at the border of Nagaland and Manipur at a height of 8000 ft above sea level. The nearest villages from the valley are Viswema and Jakhama.
• Starting and ending point will be either Guwahati or Dimapur.
• For Nagaland, you have to get inner line permits. Permits can be acquired from Delhi, Kolkata or Guwahati. We can obtain permits for you but documents have to be sent 7 days prior to the date of arrival.

Itinerary
Our driver cum guide will receive you from the Dimapur Airport/Railway Station. From there you will start your journey to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. Kohima is the nearest city to Dzukou Valley. Upon reaching, check-in to the hotel. The evening is free for you to explore the town. Stay overnight.
After breakfast we will leave for the Dzukou Valley base camp and will start our trek to the enchanting Dzukou valley. The valley is also known as “valley of flowers” of North East India. The trek will take about 3 hours. We will camp near the Rest House.
After Breakfast, we will trek to the plains of Dzukou. For adventure seekers, this is the place to be in. The climb down from the rest house towards the valley gives you a chance to an indescribable experience. After exploring the valley, we come back to our camping space. The sky view from Dzukou valley will make your evening – worth every penny. Stay overnight.
After an early breakfast, we will start trekking down. After a 2 hour trek to the base camp, we leave for Kohima city. The day is reserved for a city tour to Kohima War Cemetery, Kisama Village, and Nagaland State Museum. After touring the city in and out, we move back to the pre-booked hotel. Stay overnight.
After breakfast, we will drop you at the Dimapur Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
Cancellation Policy
Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation, and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of the program. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below,
- Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash.
- Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.
- Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund.
- Cancellations will be accepted only by email.
Note: We reserve the right to cancel a program before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
