Red Fort

Red Fort is a historic place to visit in Delhi. It is one of the famous places from the tourism point of view. Mughal dynasty emperors used to live in this place for approximately 200 years. The fort was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1639. The walls of the fort are made up of red sandstone, so-called red fort. It is important to note that every year on Independence Day the Prime Minister hoists our Tricolor Flag on at Red Fort. Also, it is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. The fort lies along the Yamuna River. The place is very famous from the Historic point of view. You must visit the area during your visit to Delhi.
Jama Masjid
It is the largest mosques in India and also known as Masjid-I Jahan-Numa. The masjid is 40 meters long and 27 meters wide. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan also builds the Mosque. The construction of Jama Masjid cost one Million Rupees at that time. Furthermore, the masjid has three large gates and four towers. It can accommodate 25000 people approximately. It is interesting to know that Aurangzeb, son of Shah Jahan designed the architecture of the masjid. More than 5000 workers were involved in the construction of the mosque.
Karol Bagh

The place is also known as Qarol Bagh and situated in the neighborhood of Central Delhi. Furthermore, it is the residential-cum-commercial area. The location is well known for shopping. Tank Road Garmet Market, Hardhyan Singh road leather market are some wholesale markets located here. The resident of this place are mostly Muslim, most of them are traders. It is also like a home for Bengali. The site is also famous for celebrating Durga Puja.
The Lotus Temple

The Lotus Temple is one of the remarkable recognizable landmarks in Delhi. The temple is designed in the form of the sacred lotus flower that’s why it is known as Lotus Temple.
Laxmi Narayan Temple
This temple is also known as Birla Temple and is located in Delhi. It is a Hindu Temple. The temple is dedicated to God Laxminarayan or God Vishnu. The inauguration of the temple was done by Mahatma Gandhi. There are three side temples that are dedicated to god Shiva, Krishna and Buddha respectively. The temple covers the area of 7.5 acres and the first largest temple in Delhi. Temple was constructed by the industrialist Baldeo Das Birla in 1933; this is the reason temple also known as Birla temple.
Lodi Gardens

These are also known as Lodhi Gardens. It is a city park in Delhi. Besides that, the garden covers the area of 990 acres. This place contains the Tomb of Mohammed Shah and Sikandar Lodi. These gardens are also a favorite spot for the morning walk of Delhites. It is one of the historical and to be preserved places in India. Even though you can see the tomb of Mohammed Shah from the road.
